The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for a battle against a Central Division titan, and the Minnesota Wild are seeking retribution after being spanked 7-1 during their last outing. With that in mind, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has made some significant changes to the starting lineup.

According to Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch, Mattias Ekholm is dealing with a minor injury and will be a game-time decision.
Oilers prospect Noah Philp has been re-called from the team's affiliate in Bakersfield field and will be slotting in the 4C position.
Additionally, forward Jeff Skinner will be healthy scratched for the 3rd game in a row and his future on the team has now been called into question.
