Team Canada is coming off a gut wrenching loss at the hands of the Americans, and the team's success at the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament now hangs in the balance. That said, Connor McDavid feels that this thing is far from over as he sends a clear message to Team USA.
According to the NHL, Sadly for Team Canada and Oilers captain Connor McDavid, his terrific tally to open the scoring in the first period on Saturday would be their only goal in a 3-1 defeat to Team USA, leaving them in need of a victory on Monday against Team Finland to set up a rematch with their rivals in the Final of the 4 Nations Face-Off on Thursday.

While fans in Montreal erupted into a frenzy, the joy would be short-lived as the Americans came storming back, scoring 3 unanswered goals to put Team Canada to bed.
As per the NHL, A regulation win against Finland would see Canada advance to the Final regardless of a Sweden victory to the head-to-head tiebreak the Canadians hold over them from their 4-3 overtime result on Thursday in the tournament opener.
"Just excited," McDavid added about Monday's meeting with Finland. "Another opportunity for us to go get a big win."
