The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for an epic showdown against the Boston Bruins tonight, and B's captain Brad Marchand recognizes the huge challenge ahead of him. Every time an Eastern Conference team has the chance to face-off against the two best hockey players, they eagerly anticipate it.

The Edmonton Oilers are currently one of the hottest team's in the NHL, and the Boston Bruins have also been heating up under their new bench boss Joe Sacco.

With that being said, The Boston Bruins haven't lost lost a game in Edmonton since October 11th, 2018, and Brad Marchand is looking to keep that trend going.

Despite the Bruins being historically dominant in the City of Champions, Brad Marchand understands that the 2024 Stanley Cup finalists are not to be taken lightly.

Brad Marchand issues statement on Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl

"There's not a whole lot you can do against those guys. I mean, the biggest thing is try to keep them in front of you. If you start to chase form behind or you start cheating at all, they're going to take advantage of that."

-Brad Marchand

"You see so many plays where McDavid will go through 3 or 4 guys, same with Leon, biggest thing is to stay in front of them, limit time and space, try to make them move pucks out of their hands, but it's tough. There some of the best to ever play the game for a reason."

-Brad Marchand

So far, the Boston Bruins post a respectable 17-13-3 record, sitting 3rd in the Atlantic Division.

The Edmonton Oilers will look to get back into the win column following their disappointing 6-5 loss to the Florida Panthers.
