Edmonton Oilers forward Viktor Arvidsson will be making his highly anticipated return to the ice tonight against the Boston Bruins, and fans are eager to see how the Swedish forward will perform.
Back on November 14th, Viktor Arvidsson missed practice due to a maintenance day.
The following day, Kris Knoblauch listed him as 50/50 for the game against the Nashville Predators, and he hasn't been available for a game since.
The nature of his injury was mysterious, leaving fans perplexed about what was going on behind the scenes.
Viktor Arvidsson breaks silence on his injury

Hoewever, Viktor Arvidsson is no stranger to being injured.
Last season, the Los Angeles Kings placed forward Viktor Arvidsson on long-term injured reserve after sustaining a lower-body injury.
In addition, Arvidsson missed the first 50 games of the 2023-24 season for the Kings after having back surgery done over the off season.
While the Oilers staff have not revealed the exact nature of his recent injury, one can assume it was likely an aggravation of a previous issue.
It's pretty incredible that Viktor Arvidsson was managing injuries for two weeks before his absence, which likely resulted in his overall disappointing start.
Thankfully, his rehab appears to have gone smoothly, and he's optimistic about being fully in the clear now.
