One of the perks of being captain of the Edmonton Oilers is the unlimited access to Rogers Place.
On this particular occasion, Connors Wife, Lauren McDavid, shared a couple of Instagram photos enjoying some quality time on the ice at Rogers Place.

In her next Instagram story, Lauren snapped a candid shot of her and Connor enjoying some quality time.
It's not the first time Oilers fans have seen Connor and Lauren embrace their winter life in Edmonton.
Just a few weeks ago, Connor and Lauren posted another video on Instagram of the tackling the stairs in Edmonton's River Valley.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, hilariously, this isn't the first time McDavid and Kyle have posted their outdoor workouts just for fun. Kyle even joked a bit that this is really how Connor likes to spend his downtime.

Edmonton's river valley has over 180 kilometres of paved paths. Anyone who lives in the vicinity of the City of Champions knows just how special this trail system is.
Although it might not be the luxurious beaches of California, or Florida's +30 degree weather, but living in Edmonton definitely has it's perks, and Connor McDavid is clearly embracing it.
