Jacob Middleton enraged with Connor McDavid's elbow on Marcus Johansson

The Edmonton Oilers are coming off an impressive 5-3 comeback win against the Minnesota Wild, but the game presented it's fair share of controversy. Despite the win, Connor McDavid is being called out for elbowing forward Ryan Johansson. While there was no clear intent to injure, Minnesota Wild defender Jacob Middleton calls out McDavid for his actions.
For those that missed it, thee 6-foot-1 forward was in the defensive zone when he caught an elbow from Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid. Johansson immediately fell over and his helmet also came off later.
According to the Hockey News, there was no penalty on the play despite McDavid sticking his elbow out, on what looked like to be on purpose. Wild head coach John Hynes wanted an explanation from referee Dan O'Rourke but didn't get one.
Moments ago, NHL insider Frank Seravalli confirmed that McDavid would be receiving no disciplinary action, but Wild defender Jacob Middleton didn't hold back his feelings regarding the incident.
