Kris Knoblauch finally provides update on Evander Kane
Breaking news in Oil Country as Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has just issued an injury update on Evander Kane.
After morning skate, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch made himself available for his usual interviews, providing fans an update on the Evander Kane
You are not going to see or hear anything on him for at least a month," Knoblauch revealed
Evander Kane has missed all of training camp and regular season so far recovering from surgery.
According to Daniel Nugent-Bowman, Kane had corrective surgery for six different problems: four different abdominal muscles and two hernias.
As per Liam McCormick, While there may have been some rumours about Kane's future with the Oilers, the player and the organization seem intent on him getting healthy and back in the lineup this season and next.
The Oilers have been sorely missing Kane's physical presence in their lineup, and could easily use his goal scoring at the moment. Even when Kane was playing through these significant injuries, he still lead the Oilers in hits.
Last month, hockey insider Kevin Weekes sent shockwaves down the NHL, reporting that Evander Kane would be returning in early 2025.
Now, with these updates from Kris Knoblauch confirming Weekes' reports, Oilers fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing their scoring ace is just weeks away from a return.
