Breaking news in Oil Country as Edmonton Oilers defenceman John Klingberg has scored his first ever goal on the team.
The Edmonton Oilers are currently in the 1st frame against the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Oilers have looked rusty to say the least.

Well, John Klingberg has been a great addition so far for the Edmonton Oilers, and his emergence on the team has potentially changed Stan Bowman's plans leading up to the trade deadline.
Klingberg is an offensively-minded right-shot defenceman who had several big seasons with the Dallas Stars. He recorded a career-high 68 points in 2017-18 and has had six seasons in which he has put up 40 or more.
Klingberg is exactly the type of defenceman the Oilers were seeking. He's a big, smooth skating blue-liner with a right shot who can play top-4 minutes.
