Connor McDavid takes awkward airplane ride back to Philadelphia

A few days ago, Team Canada maintained their hockey supremacy over Team USA, winning the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament in a thrilling overtime victory. That said, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid had no time to waste as the Edmonton Oilers are taking on the Philadelphia Flyers for a matinee matchup today. According to insider Mark Spector, Connor McDavid was invited to take an uncomfortable airplane ride with members of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Well folks, Hockey Canada keeps its proverbial crown...for now.
That said, The Edmonton Oilers are resuming their home stretch of the regular season, but so are the Philadelphia Flyers.

According to Mark Spector, The Philadelphia Flyers invited Connor McDavid to fly back to Philly on their charter from Boston, along with John Tortorella, Travis Konecny, and Travis Sanheim.
While Konecny and Sanheim were teammates for the 4 Nations Tournament, one can only imagine how uncomfortable it mustve been to sit beside John Tortorella, who served as assistant coach for Team USA.
All I know is it must have been hilarious for all three players to go from teammates to rivals in just a few hours as the Oilers and Flyers prepare for an exciting showdown this morning.
That must've been an entertaining plane ride!
With a refreshed Flyers roster fully rejuvenated, the Edmonton Oilers better come out the gate with their heads screwed on straight, or the pesky Flyers could pull-off an upset.
The Edmonton Oilers are looking to get back into the win column following a disappointing 5-4 loss at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche before the break, so it should be interesting to see how tomorrow's game shakes out.
Will the Oilers look disjointed after such a significant amount of time off? Time will tell.
