That said, the Edmonton Oilers have dropped their projected lineup, and head coach Kris Knoblauch has made some notable adjustments to the roster.
Status report: Savoie will make his NHL debut, Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said Friday; a roster move will need to be made to officially call him up from Bakersfield of the American Hockey League. McDavid did not practice Friday due to traveling from the 4 Nations Face-Off in Boston but will play.
Status report: Poehling, Tippett, Ristolainen and Zamula are healthy and options to play Saturday after each missed time because of an upper-body injury.
The Edmonton Oilers currently sit at the top of the Pacific Division standings, with the Las Vegas Golden Knights trailing right behind them.
The Edmonton Oilers will look to get right back into the win column following a crushing 5-4 defeat at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche before the 4 Nations Face-Off Toournament.
