The Edmonton Oilers have been on a heater as of late, winning two back-to-back games against the Anaheim Ducks and Seattle Kraken. While the Oilers have been impressive their last two outings, frustration does boils over sometimes.

Following the 3-2 win over the Ducks, Leon Draisaitl made himself available for his usual postgame interviews where an awkward moment took place between him and a reporter.

During his explanation, one reporter chuckled during Leon's response, sparking a reaction for the Oilers sniper.

"Is that funny?"

Leon Draisaitl has a history with reporters

Unfortunately, this isnt the first time Leon's had a confrontation with the media.

I think fans will remember when Leon Draisaitl had the most iconic spat with Oilers reporter Jim Matheson.

Draisaitl declined to give Matheson much of an answer to his question about if there was one particular thing the team was doing wrong.

Matheson: «Lots of reasons for why the Oilers are playing the way they are in terms of winning and losing. What do you think is the number-one reason for the losses? Is there one thing, in your own mind, where you're saying 'We've got to get better at that?'»

Draisaitl: «Yeah, we have to get better at everything.»

Matheson: «Would you like to expand on that?»

Draisaitl: «No. You can do that. You know everything.»

Matheson: «Why are you so pissy, Leon?»

Draisaitl: «Hmm?»

After a few years of trial and error, I think the media has learned their fair share of lessons from Leon Draisaitl.

While a level of mutual level of respect has since been established between reporters and the Oilers superstar, the odd outburst does occur from time-to-time.
