Despite Connor McDavid being left off the score sheet, the Oilers demonstrated their depth by securing two crucial victories without their captains offensive contributions.

While the Seattle Kraken came roaring back to make it a 3-2 game, the Edmonton Oilers avoided another near meltdown with a great shut-down performance late in the 3rd.
The Edmonton Oilers got timely contributions from Vasily Podkolzin, Jeff Skinner, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to put the team up 3-0 early on. Leon Draisaitl also recorded his 29th goal of the year to cap things off.
