Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is not on the ice for warmups, removed from starting lineup
Breaking news in Oil Country as forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is not on the ice for warmups and has been removed off the starting roster ahead of the Ottawa Senators game.
"Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is NOT on the ice for the warmup
According to Bob Stauffer, here is the updated starting roster against the Ottawa Senators:
Although the nature of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins absence is unclear, it does present a unique opportunity for Jeff Skinner to get his game going.
Although having Ryan Nugent out of the lineup comes as a significant blow to the team, head coach Kris Knoblauch will rely on his depth players to step up and seize a golden opportunity.
With RNH missing from the top power play unit, Kris Knoblauch has the option to try Jeff Skinner on the top unit.
A stint on the power play alongside Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl could be just what he needs to boost his confidence and get his game back on track.
Oilers Central will keep you posted on further breaking updates on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Hopefully, his absence from the game is nothing serious.
