Paul Coffey gets hit by puck during practice, hilariously punishes player for his actions

While the accident was a scary fluke, Paul Coffey wasted no time hilariously punishing Connor Brown for his actions.

During a drill on Wednesday, Connor Brown ripped a shot that was deflected, resulting in Paul Coffey being struck in the face.

Paul Coffey had to go to the dressing room to get some minor repairs and stitches, thankfully, no major injuries were sustained.

As punishment, Connor Brown was forced to do the ol' over and back drill, similar to basketball suicides.

Luckily, Paul Coffey will be good to go for tomorrow's matchup against the Red Wings.

Fortunately for Coffey, he's no stranger to getting hit by pucks.

Coffey who was a legend for the Oilers and the NHL had many degrees of toughness as he had 1800 penalty minutes during his career.

He was drafted by the Oilers in 1980, first round 6th overall and had a fantastic career which spanned from 1980 till 2001. He had won Stanley cups with the Oilers and the Pittsburgh Penguins and played 1409 games, scoring 396 goals with 1135 assists for 1531 points and was a + 298.

Maybe Connor Brown will think twice before ripping wild shots at the net with Paul Coffey in his vicinity, or he could be doing laps again...
