Now John Klingberg is getting acquainted with his new teammates and is regularly skating with the team.
According to sources, John Klingberg will make Oilers debut on February 1st or earlier, says Coach Knoblauch
According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, Oilers coach Knoblauch met with the media today and confirmed Klingberg will return sometime in the team's three games next week - with the final game being Saturday February 1st against the Maple Leafs.
According to the Athletic -- If healthy, Klingberg will help the Oilers in puck retrieval, expert passing and transporting the puck. He's big, strong and mobile but isn't a basher on defence. He has posted 11-42-53 boxcars per 82 games, with plenty of power-play success when he was at his peak.

John Klingberg is currently on the mend from a hip resurfacing operation, a procedure notoriously difficult to come back from.
Regardless, the Oilers are in a relatively low risk, high reward type of situation with their new Swedish defenceman.
