Edmonton Oilers make shocking last minute roster change
The Edmonton Oilers are coming off a disappointing 6-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers yesterday, but the boy's won't have any time to dwell on the loss as they go right back to work against the Washington Capitals this morning. That said, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has just made some last minute changes to the starting roster, sparking some confusion amongst fans.
Following yesterday's embarrassing to the Philadelphia Flyers, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch is taking some drastic measures by flipping his starting lineup completely upside down.
Edmonton Oilers new starting lineup
Podkolzin-McDavid-Kapanen
Perry-Draisaitl-Savoie
Arvidsson-RNH-Hyman
J. Skinner-Henrique-Brown
Ekholm-Bouchard
Nurse-Emberson
Kulak-Klingberg
Pickard
These changes by Knoblauch are confusing, to say the least.
At this point, the Edmonton Oilers should just move on from
Jeff Skinner.
If Kris Knoblauch refuses to give him a consistent look on the oilers top-6, then he's just not worth having around anymore. Jeff Skinner doesn't have the skillset to play a diminished checking role on the 4th line.
Will these new lines work? Time will tell
