It's no secret that Connor McDavid is up for a contract renewal in 2025-26, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see where his loyalties lie.

According to Oilers Nation, During Thursday's edition of DFO Rundown, Frank Seravalli and Jason Gregor poured cold water on the idea due to McDavid's wife opening a bar in Edmonton, the team coming off a Game 7 loss in the Final and currently amid another strong season. Seravalli even went as far as to describe it as «clickbaity bullsh*t.»
All I can say is...WOW! Although Frank Seravalli has been known to stir the pot from time-to-time, it's nice to see Greg Wyshynski get shut down in such dramatic fashion.
As far as I'm concerned, Connor McDavid is committed to the Oilers for the long-run, and I don't see any viable reason for him leaving the organization anytime soon.
