Lauren McDavid has been extremely busy the past few weeks. Recently, Lauren Kyle McDavid, Connor McDavid's wife, has launched an Edmonton Oilers-themed clothing line called "Atelier"

The brand, Sports Club Atelier, makes trendy sweaters, tops, hats, socks and claw clips -- pretty much everything you need to be a trendy Oilers fan.

While Lauren McDavid has her hands tied up with Atelier, she recently sent shockwaves through Edmonton with her latest announcement!

Lauren McDavid to open up new bar in Edmonton

According to the Daily Hive, Lauren took to Instagram to tease the opening of brand-new concepts, Trove Living and Bar Trove, which are set to open this spring.

«New business venture well in the works coming soon Edmonton,» she captioned the post.

While little is known about Bar Trove or Trove Living just yet, it will be occupying an iconic downtown Edmonton landmark, the old Canada Permanent Building at 10126 100th Street NW.

Signage for the concept also featured the tagline «Curating timeless elegance.» As an interior designer with her own company, Kyle & Co, under her belt, we can't wait to see it in all its glory.

Connor McDavid is up for a contract renewal during the offseason, and the fact that his wife is opening all these new business ventures in Edmonton is great to news for Oilers fans.

Although Connor McDavid remains tight-lipped about his new deal, his wife's recent business ventures in Edmonton strongly suggests that he has no plans to leave the city anytime soon.
