Breaking news in Oil Country as Edmonton Oilers defenceman Brett Kulak reveals that he and his wife are expecting their second child.
Brett Kulak and his wife, Caitlyn Kulak, are now expecting the birth of their second baby -- and the Edmonton Oilers will be adding an new little member to the family
The news was dropped on a segment of "After Hours" following the Edmonton Oilers 6-2 victory against the New York Rangers.
During last night's appearance on After Hours, it was revealed that Brett Kulak and his wife, Caitlyn, are expecting their second child in late April
The Kulak's first child, two-year-old daughter Riley, was born in 2022 between Game 6 and 7 of the #Oilers playoff series vs. LA.
«Due date is the end of April and we play our last game I think on April 16,» Kulak said. «Hopefully the baby comes on the 17th and then get a couple days before our first-round matchup.» -Brett Kulak
Back when the Oilers played the LA Kings in the first round of the 2022 playoffs, Brett Kulak recalls the special moment where he became a dad for the first time.
«I get the call in the middle of the night and then I'm up and caught the earliest flight I could,» Kulak said. «I flew into Calgary and my mom drove down from Stony [Plain] and picked me up and drove me out to Canmore and I was able to be there for the birth.»
Assistant coach Paul Coffey has been rewarding Kulak with increased minutes, frequently elevating him to the second line pairing alongside Darnell Nurse.
