Back when the Oilers played the LA Kings in the first round of the 2022 playoffs, Brett Kulak recalls the special moment where he became a dad for the first time.
«I get the call in the middle of the night and then I'm up and caught the earliest flight I could,» Kulak said. «I flew into Calgary and my mom drove down from Stony [Plain] and picked me up and drove me out to Canmore and I was able to be there for the birth.»
Brett Kulak has been absolutely on fire to start the 2024-25 NHL campaign. Through 22 regular season games, Kulak has notched 4 goals and 4 assists.
Assistant coach Paul Coffey has been rewarding Kulak with increased minutes, frequently elevating him to the second line pairing alongside Darnell Nurse.
Oilers Central would like to congratulate Brett Kulak on this special milestone -- hopefully the baby comes before the playoffs!
