Connor McDavid scores filthy goal against the New York Rangers
Connor McDavid just scored one of his best goals of the year, putting the Edmonton Oilers up 6-1 against the New York Rangers.
The Edmonton Oilers are putting up a clinic against the New York Rangers tonight, pounding them 6-1 with seven minutes left in the third period.
In typical McDavid fashion, the Oilers captain received a nudge pass from defenceman Troy Stetcher, taking the puck all the way to the Rangers net, patiently waiting out Jonathan Quick to put the Oil up 6-1.
Nicknamed «captain patient» on this particular play, Connor McDavid continues to find ways to impress NHL enthusiasts around the league.
This marks the captains 3rd point of the night as the Edmonton Oilers seem to be easing past a formidable Rangers team tonight.
Coming into tonight's matchup, the New York Rangers were one of the hottest teams in the league, posting a 12-5-1 record, ranking 10th overall in the NHL.
It's looking like the Oilers will be taking home the win tonight, improving their overall record to 11-9-2.
