According to the NHL, The Edmonton Oilers announced Friday afternoon they have recalled defenceman Josh Brown from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors.
Earlier on Friday, defenceman Travis Dermott was claimed from the Oilers by the Minnesota Wild after he was placed on waivers on Thursday.
Travis Dermott was placed on waivers following the Alec Regula acquisition.
Obviously the Edmonton Oilers have recalled Josh Brown in the event Evan Bouchard is unavailable tonight.
According to Oilers Nation, Bouchard suffered an undisclosed injury on the play that coach Kris Knoblauch described as «nothing major.» According to Tony Brar of Oilers TV, Bouchard is 50/50 to play on Saturday afternoon against the Vegas Golden Knights and will be a game-time decision.
Josh Brown's last re-call for the Edmonton Oilers was during their easter Canadian road trip back in November.
Josh Brown played reasonably well during his short stint, even getting into a spirited with Ottawa Senators enforcer Zack MacEwan.
Hopefully, Evan Bouchard suits up for tonight's game, as the Las Vegas Golden Knights will present a tough challenge.
