As it stands, forwards Viktor Arvidsson and Zach Hyman remain sidelined due to injury.
Earlier today, Sportsnet announced that Zach Hyman would likely be dressing for tonight's matchup, but it appears that Knoblauch is giving him an extra day to rest.
Despite Hyman being sidelined tonight, the Oilers have confirmed that Zach Hyman will join the team for the entire 3 game road-trip, and I fully expect him to be playing in Saturday's against the Colorado Avalanche.
Head coach Kris Knoblauch has also given backup goaltender Calvin Pickard the nod between the pipes tonight.
In 8 regular season games, Calvin Pickard has notched 4-3-0 record posting a 0.893 SP.
Additionally, forward Jeff Skinner gets bumped up to the Oilers 3rd line, but fans shouldn't read too much into it -- this move by Knoblauch is directly co-related to the injuries of Hyman and Arvidsson.
Drake Caggiula is being slotted into the Oilers 4th line after being re-called from Bakersfield, and Kasperi Kapanen remains put on Connor McDavid's wing.
The Oilers will look for an important win tonight to remain competitive in a tight Pacific Division.
