Connor Brown reveals the reason behind his offensive surge

The Edmonton Oilers are coming off an impressive shutdown performance against Utah HC last night, and Connor Brown is slowly showing fans he has the potential to be a top contributer to the team.
After battling through a tough year in 2023-24, Brown signed a one-year low-money deal to stay in Edmonton, and it's been an excellent fit for both the player and the team.
The guy has already beaten his totals in both goals and assists from last year despite playing only half the games, and it's the kind of production we expected to have from him this whole time.
According to Liam McCormick, Now, Connor Brown has 3 goals and 10 points in his last 9 games. In a post game interview, Brown said that he's feeling as confident and healthy as he's been prior to the ACL injury.
"I feel good, I kind of feel back to where I was pre-injury... Trade deadline on last year I feel like I've taken a few steps forward offensively."
It's becoming increasingly clear that Connor Brown is making huge strides since coming back from knee surgery.
You can tell he's having a blast out there, and he's truly cemented his role on the team.
In 37 games this season, Brown has six goals and 12 assists, totaling 18 points. He is on a 0.49 points-per-game pace. That would have him finish the season with 40 points. If that holds, it would be the second-highest point total he has experienced in a season over his entire NHL career.
