The Edmonton Oilers are coming off an epic 3-2 overtime victory against the St. Louis Blues last night, but Connor McDavid is making headlines yet again for his impressive game winning goal.

One thing i've learned over the past few years -- never bet against the Edmonton Oilers.
The Edmonton Oilers controlled the tempo of the game for the better part of 60 minutes, but the St. Louis Blues put together a furious comeback in the 3rd period, going up 2-1.
That said, the Edmonton Oilers managed to scrape together a furious comeback of their own, notching the game at 2 to settle things in overtime.
Minutes into extra time, He skated the puck up the ice and into St. Louis' end on the counterattack, pushing back a trio of young Blues: Jake Neighbours, Dylan Holloway, and Philip Broberg. As Connor Brown drove down towards the net, Bouchard got the puck to Connor McDavid.
The rest, well, Dylan Holloway will be having nightmares about it...
As per Oilers Nation, with speed in his step, he put Holloway and Broberg in a blender, faking out the former and sending the latter falling to the ice as he dished a quick backhand to Brown, who made no mistake in sealing an overtime win for the Oilers - and scoring his first career overtime goal.
«I just tried to get open and it worked,» Brown told Sportsnet's Mark Spector after the game. «So, yeah, that was a nice little treat for me.»

The Edmonton Oilers will look for a second straight consecutive victory when they take on the terrible Chicago Blackhawks tonight in the Windy City.
