Edmonton Oilers players interview Gene Principe
Recently, a few of the Edmonton Oilers got together to do a hilarious role reversal with Sportsnet host Gene Principe.
Corey Perry, Connor Brown, Darnell Nurse, and Mattias Ekholm recently sat down with Gene Principe, but this time, it was the Oilers players who took on the role of interviewers -- and the results did not disappoint.
According to Daily Hive, one of the funnier questions came from Brown, who asked Principe what he does to keep his hair looking the same every day. To no surprise, he offered another great answer and was sure to include a pun.
«Connor, I use all kinds of gel. I've tried mousse before, and it just doesn't work,» Principe said. «That's what I generally use, and sometimes fans can be a bit jeal-ous about my hair. It definitely ends up being a topic of conversation, sometimes for the good, sometimes not so much for the good.»
This hilarious interaction between Gene and the players is currently blowing up on X (formally known as twitter). The Oilers fanbase definitely has a love/hate relationship with Gene Principe.
Although some fans have grown to love his enthusiasm over the years, some fans mute his pregame segments as listening to him can often be unbearable.
As the Edmonton Oilers gear up for a thrilling showdown against St. Louis tonight, it will be interesting to see what Gene Principe has in store for tonight's pregame show.
