Breaking news in Oil Country as Oilers prospect Roby Jarventie has suffered a season ending injury just 2 games into his season.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, new interview from Condors coach Colin Chaulk, Jarventie is set to have surgery this week and will likely be shut down for the rest of the season.

In return, the Oilers have welcomed Senators prospect Roby Jarventie and a valuable fourth-round draft pick to their ranks.
Roby Jarventie appears to offer a bright spark for the Oilers, so this set-back is definitely unfortunate.
Drafted 33rd overall by the Senators in 2020, Jarventie has already made an impression in his brief NHL stint and more substantially in the AHL, where he notched 20 points in just 22 games this season.
It's incredibly unfortunate that Jarventie was limited to only 2 games with the Oilers organization this season. Had he spent the year developing, there could've been a chance he was called up in-season, or primed for a run at making the team out of training camp next year.

Hopefully, Jarventie makes a speedy recovery as Oilers fans are eager to see this talented player back in action.
