The Edmonton Oilers are gearing of for a heavy weight Pacific Division showdown tonight against the Las Vegas Golden Knights, but the team will have to continue to make due without Viktor Arvidsson and Zach Hyman.

According to Edmonton Oilers insider Tony Brar, Viktor Arvidsson and Zach Hyman continue to be sidelined due to injury, and Stuart Skinner gets the nod between the pipes.
Just before the Colorado Avalanche game, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch gave fans some encouraging news on Zach Hyman, hinting a return to play was potentially on the table, but unfortunately remains out.
The prognosis was initially 6-10 days, and Zach Hyman and Viktor Arvidsson both joined the team for the three game road trip, but Oilers staff still considers them unfit to play.
Here are the projected lineups tonight for the Edmonton Oilers:
Forwards
Nugent-Hopkins - McDavid - Kapanen
Podkolzin - Draisaitl - Brown
Skinner - Henrique - Janmark
Caggiula - Ryan - Perry
Defence
Ekholm - Bouchard
Nurse - Stecher
Kulak - Emberson
Goalies
Skinner
Pickard
In net, they'll turn to Stuart Skinner, who's been playing his best hockey of the season over the past two weeks. He's 3-1 in his past four starts with a .915 save percentage, including a 27-save win over Colorado in which he only allowed one goal.
-Finn Marceau, The Hockey News

With a win tonight, the Oilers could find themselves just 3 points back of the Pacific Division lead.
Despite Arvidsson and Hyman out of the lineup, I fully expect the Oilers to come out firing on all cylinders tonight.
