Breaking news in Oil Country as head coach Kris Knoblauch has just revealed an important update regarding forward Viktor Arvidsson.

The Edmonton Oilers are taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight for an epic Hockey Night in Canada showdown, and head coach Kris Knoblauch has indicated that Viktor Arvidsson is back form injury and will be dressing tonight.

Viktor Arvidsson missed the Oilers last game against the Nashville Predators due to an undisclosed injury.

According to Kris Knoblauch, Viktor Arvidsson was taking a "maintenance day" to rest some minor bumps and bruises.

With that being said, Kris Knoblauch has unveiled tonight's starting lineup, and it looks like the team is returning to their usual line combinations.

It's a bit strange to see Travis Dermott remain in the lineup in the top four position after Dermott was severely benched last game, but perhaps that's from the coaching staff giving him a chance to play against his former team. Dermott is listed as Nurse's partner, but it will likely be Brett Kulak jumping up for the most important moments of the game.

Stuart Skinner will be the goalie between the pipes after sitting out last game, and forward Jeff Skinner remains on the Oilers 4th line.

The Edmonton Oilers have historically underperformed in the city of Toronto -- but the Oilers are currently riding a high after Connor McDavid breached the 1000 point plateau and should give them an extra offensive punch.
