Oilers superstar McDavid is thrilled to play alongside NHL legend for the 4Nations Face-Off

Connor McDavid's is excited for the 4 Nations Face-Off as he gears up for the chance to play alongside Sidney Crosby for the first time.
The tournament is set to run from February 12 to 20 and represents a nice "teaser" for the highly anticipated return of NHL players to the Olympics in 2026.
For Connor McDavid its' also an opportunity to show his skills on an international stage with the best of the best and it's including his childhood idol Crosby.
While the 4 Nations Face-Off isn't quite the Olympics or the World Cup, McDavid treats it with the same passion and it's reflecting on his experience with Team North America at the 2016 World Cup where he said the camaraderie and competitiveness among elite players is a dynamic he expects to see again as Canada faces off against Finland, the U.S., and Sweden.
For fans and players alike, the 4 Nations Face-Off offers a peak of the electrifying matchups that await at future international tournaments and at the Olympics.
As McDavid pointed out, Canada's depth of talent remains unmatched and this type of skill and unity will for sure inspire the next generation of hockey stars in Canada.
