Well folks, that was ugly -- but we'll take it! The Edmonton Oilers avoided a momentum killing loss, beating the Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 4-3.

Following a brutal 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Edmonton Oilers had their eyes on a major bounce back.
Oilers fans were suffering some PTSD in the 1st period, finding themselves down 2-0 Teuvo Teravainen and Nick Foligno.
Thankfully, the Edmonton Oilers came into the 2nd period with their heads screwed on straight.
28 seconds into the middle frame, Vasily Podkolzin buried his 5th goal of the season off a nifty feed from Viktor Arvidsson.
Although the Chicago Blackhawks extended their lead to 3-2, the Edmonton Oilers were able to rally back with some impressive offensive effort.
But cue the secondary scoring, as goals by Adam Henrique and Corey Perry in a span of 91 seconds tied it 3-3 with 2 1/2 minutes remaining in the middle frame - one that has seen the Oilers lead the league with a plus-26 goal differential this season.
And Zach Hyman made it minus-21 on the game's first power play, 46:18 in, as the Oilers took their first lead of the night, giving them their fifth win in six games.
With tonight's win, the Edmonton Oilers boost their record to 26-13-3, good for 8th in the NHL and 2nd in the Pacific.
The boys will look to keep the ball rolling when they take on the LA Kings on Monday.
