Insider provides important update on John Klingebrg

It was recently announced that the Edmonton Oilers signed defenceman John Klingberg to 1 year pro-rated contract worth $1 million, including a $350k signing bonus.
Now John Klingberg is getting acquainted with his new teammates and is regularly skating with the team.
While his addition to the team has sparked a ton of excitement in Oil Country, fans are starting to grow weary of the ongoing delay of adding him to the starting rotation.
With that being said, previous reports indicated that John Klingberg is currently dealing with immigration issue which has hindered his ability to get in on the action.
Now, new reports from TSN's Darren Dregger reveal that Klingberg's off-ice related issues are solved, and he fully expects John Klingberg to be available for Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Unless something changes in the next couple of days, expect John Klingberg to make his Oilers debut on Saturday vs the Maple Leafs.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, Coming back after missing over a full season at 32 years old, Klingberg has a lot to prove to even make the playoff roster.
However, the potential is there for Klingberg to be an effective player. In his prime with the Dallas Stars, he was considered one of the premier offensive defenceman in the NHL. In 633 career games, Klingberg has an impressive 412 points.
His play declined over recent seasons as his hip mobility became a problem prior to his surgery. Now healthier than he's been in years, the hope is that Klingberg can return to form and be a top four defenceman.

Although John Klingberg is coming off double hip surgery, facing off against his former team should be a great motivator. Nonetheless, Oilers fans are eager to see what their new blue-liner will bring to the table.
