Despite the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 win over the Edmonton, the Vancouver Canucks find themselves in dire straits with superstar J.T. Miller. According to reports from Elliotte Friedman, Miller was a near healthy scratch prior to the game amidst ongoing trade rumours.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, after JT Miller was singled out on the Canucks bench and clearly emotional in his post game press conference, there were reports that Miller had already played his last game as a Canucks.

According to Friedman, The Vancouver Canucks have given permission to different NHL teams to reach out to Miller, and his time in Vancouver appears to be done.

Friedman reported that Miller was almost scratched

There was a time over the last 24 hours where JT Miller was not going to play. He was going to be held out of the lineup, because talks were progressing on a trade. I believe that team is the New York Rangers, and I don't know exactly what happened, but that trade is off right now.

Some teams do have permission to talk to Miller. Not sure who it is, but I've heard there are some teams that have been granted permission to him.

As per Canucks Daily, with JT Miller having a no trade clause, allowing other teams to contact Miller and his agent with out going through Allvin is a prime way to accelerate the process of moving him out of Vancouver, and it almost guarantees at some point that his clause will be waived sooner rather than later.
