The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for a thrilling showdown against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight, and the boys will look to make it two in a row following last night's victory over the St. Louis Blues.

Oilers projected lineup

Injured: None
Status report: The Oilers did not hold a morning skate Wednesday following a 3-2 overtime victory at the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. Pickard is expected to start after Skinner made 20 saves against the Blues
Blackhawks projected lineup
Scratched: Philipp Kurashev, TJ Brodie, Colton Dach, Artyom Levshunov
Injured: Laurent Brossoit (knee)
Status report: Smith will return after missing 11 games because of a back injury.
The Chicago Blackhawks, as usual, have been the worst team in the NHL all season long. Although no victory in the NHL comes easy, there's really no excuse for the Oilers to drop the ball tonight.
Game time is set for 7:00 PM MT.
