The Edmonton Oilers are coming off a disappointing 5-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild, but Leon Draisaitl might have the award for the most hilarious goal of the year so far.

Just a minute into the game, Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl casually dumped the puck out of the Edmonton zone.

The puck ended up rolling into the zone, bounced over the stick of two Wild defenders and then, somehow went straight through future Hall of Famer Marc-André Fleury.

This resulted in one of the flukiest goals so far this season.

You can clearly see that Minnesota Wild future Hall of Fame goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury was anticipating the puck, but he unfortunately flubbed it in attempts to smack it out of his crease.

The Edmonton Oilers rewarded Fleury with a sarcastic "Bronx Cheer" and enjoyed their short lead while it lasted.

Despite the puck bouncing around a few time before reaching the net, Leon Draisaitl, who leads the team in scoring was awarded his 16th of the season, but the Minnesota Wild would come back and control most of the game from there.

Many NHL fans believe that this is Fleury's final NHL season - and It's fitting that Fleury waited for his very last game in Edmonton to relent one like that.

The legendary goaltender moved into third all-time among NHL games played by a goalie at 1,030 tonight. Letting that one in the first minute of such a historic game probably wasn't on his list.

The Edmonton Oilers failed to hold on, losing the game 5-3 in disappointing fashion.

The team will look for a much needed bounce-back when they take on the New York Rangers on Saturday.
