Ex-Edmonton Oiler has bold prediction for the next Toronto Maple Leafs game

During a recent segment of the Got Yer' Back Podcast, ex-Edmonton Oilers defenceman Jason Strudwick believes things have now gotten personal between Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves and Darnell Nurse.
During the last game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Darnell Nurse was retrieving the puck in what appeared to be a routine play, but Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer came charging around the corner, deliberately clipping Darnell Nurse in the face.
The Edmonton Oilers are facing-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs again on February 1st, and Jason Strudwick believes that Darnell Nurse will seek retribution against Ryan Reaves.
Strudwick suggested that it's likely Nurse will look for a fight with Reaves when the Leafs meet the Oilers again on February 1. The former Oilers' tough guy suggested there's no way Nurse lets anyone else fight Reaves. It has to be him, which Strudwick understands. The downside for the Oilers is that this isn't a good trade-off.

Ryan Reaves, who is finally back from his 5 game suspension recently broke his silence about the incident, stating he's unapologetic and will continue to hit to inflict pain.
«The only truth that he [Nurse] spoke was I go out there to inflict pain. That's a fact, and that's not going to stop,» Reaves said. «But I'm going to continue to do it legally.»

These comments certainly won't sit well with Darnell Nurse, and Jason Strudwick believes that the Edmonton Oilers blue-liner will be taking matters into his own hands by dropping the gloves with Ryan Reaves.
Although Darnell Nurse has been in his fair share of spirited tilts over the years, I don't think this situation ends well for Darnell Nurse.
Although Ryan Reaves was seen going to the Oilers dressing room following his ejection, Strudwick reports that Darnell Nurse's reaction to Reaves' apology was probably cold.
Regardless, I'm sure fans are eager to see what happens between the two heavy-weights on February 1st.
